I’m pretty sure they’re marketed through Takamine’s distributors (in the UK at least) and are intended to form an "entry-level" range for those of us who like Tak’s (me included). The few I’ve played have been pretty good, obviously not in the hand-crafted, solid wood league, although they all appeared to need a good set-up to get the best from ‘em – such is the way of mass-produced budget guitars, I suppose! Now, if they make a 12-string equivalent to the EN-40 Tak, I’d be very interested in trying one… AARRGHHH, the GAS has got me! Dave H. (The engineer formerly known as Homeless)

I believe Jasmine guitars is one of the many, many name brands used by the enormous Samick guitar company of Korea. The only ones I have seen are beginner guitars, but not bad in that way. Not expensive. The Old Guy http://www.newsfeed.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! —–= Over 100,000 Newsgroups – Unlimited Fast Downloads – 19 Servers =—–
