You could find plenty of suggestions, I’m sure, by searching this groups archives at http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search?hl=en or maybe check your favourites of the beginner songs at: http://guitar.about.com/cs/beginners/ I think my first (English language) songs were Bob Dylan, although I’m not a big BD fan at all: Knocking on heaven’s door, Blowing in the wind, One more cup of coffee… – Weelie (from Finland)

You Prettty Things by Bowie…… Tabs

I’m a beginning guitar player, i know the basic chords at the moment, and am working on expanding that knowledge as much as possible. I would like input on what some good songs that are well known (so that i know what it should sound like) that are really easy to play so i can feel better about my progress on the guitar. Thanks, Ben

Oh, i’d also like to add, that acoustic would be best for me, beacuse that’s what i’m playing, and i think that it would be easiest to here if i’m doing it right if playing the same style instrument. thanks again Ben
