Im also a beginner, and bought recently a new amp. To get the most options effects and simulate different other sounds I choose a Roland Cube 30 – it has all kind of effects reverb, chourus, phaser, delay etc and at a low price too. Im using it for my acou-electric too, and it makes a lot of nice noice with my old 64- Hagstr
