Take a look at this site posted earlier this week by Rhaoker. http://www.frets.com/FRETSPages/pagelist.html#Musician For string recommendations and a plethora of other information checkout http://www.google.com/advanced_group_search?hl=en In the "Newsgroup" field enter *guitar* to limit your search to newsgroups focused on the guitar. You can enter your search text much like you’d enter text to google/yahoo/excite etc., for various websites. -Eric

I used the link that Eric suggests in his post and successfully strung my acoustic for the first time recently. It’s quite helpful and there are some good pics to help you. I use extra light Martin strings on mine. If you go heavier, remember that it will be harder to fret them. If you’re a beginner like me, that can be frustrating. Also, when the strings are off, if you’re tempted to lemon oil the guitar, don’t use too much! I made the fretboard too slippery by doing that. lol Good luck, Todd

Check out http://www.jcdisciples.org/davidtannen/guitar/howtostring/index.html on how to restring. Light strings would be best since you are just learning. — An ambassador for Christ John 14:21 "Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him." Check Out: http://www.jcdisciples.org/davidtannen/index.html
